At Bordon Infant and Junior Schools, our Design and Technology curriculum encourages children to become creative thinkers and problem-solvers. Through designing, making and evaluating products, pupils develop practical skills and technical knowledge while learning how to create purposeful solutions to real-life challenges.

Skills and knowledge are built progressively throughout the school, enabling children to refine their ideas, learn from experience and improve their work over time. Design and Technology also provides opportunities for pupils to apply learning from across the curriculum, particularly in mathematics, science, computing and art.

Through our DT curriculum, we aim for pupils to:
